1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By engaging Valor Roofing & Waterproofing’s services or entering into any agreement with us, you (“Customer” or “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Valor Roofing & Waterproofing (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
2. SERVICES PROVIDED
Valor Roofing & Waterproofing provides professional roofing and waterproofing services throughout Southern California, including:
- Emergency roof repairs
- New roof installations
- Roof inspections
- Leak prevention and roof waterproofing
- Deck waterproofing
- Maintenance and cleaning
All services are subject to written contracts that specify the scope of work, materials, timeline, and pricing.
3. ESTIMATES AND CONTRACTS
- All estimates are free and valid for 30 days
- All work must be authorized by a signed written contract
- Final pricing may vary if additional work or unforeseen conditions are discovered
4. PAYMENT TERMS
- Payment terms will be specified in your contract
- We may require a deposit before work begins as allowed by law
- Final payment is due upon completion and customer approval
- Late fees may apply to overdue accounts
- We accept cash, check, credit cards, and insurance proceeds
5. WARRANTIES
5.1 Workmanship Warranty
- We provide a 2-year warranty on our workmanship
- Warranty covers defects in installation but not normal wear, weather damage, or work by others
5.2 Material Warranties
- Materials are covered by manufacturer warranties
- We will assist with warranty claims but manufacturer terms apply
LIABILITY AND INSURANCE
- Valor Roofing & Waterproofing maintains liability and workers' compensation insurance
- All work is performed by licensed, insured professionals with over 20 years of experience
- Our liability is limited to the cost of repair or replacement of defective work
- We are not liable for consequential or indirect damages
7. PERMITS AND SAFETY
- Customer is responsible for obtaining necessary permits unless otherwise agreed
- All work complies with applicable building codes
- We may delay work due to unsafe weather conditions
- We prioritize safety in all operations
8. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide clear access to work areas
- Remove vehicles and obstacles from work zones
- Secure pets during work hours
- Provide accurate information about property conditions
- Report any concerns immediately
9. CANCELLATION POLICY
- Customers may cancel within 3 business days of signing contract
- Cancellations after work begins may be subject to charges for completed work and materials
- We may cancel contracts for non-payment or safety concerns
- Written notice required for all cancellations
10. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
- Address concerns directly with our management team first
- Disputes will be resolved under California state law
- Legal proceedings must be filed in Los Angeles County courts
- Prevailing party may be entitled to reasonable attorney fees
11. GENERAL PROVISIONS
- These Terms may be updated with reasonable notice
- If any provision is invalid, remaining provisions remain in effect
- These Terms, together with individual contracts, constitute the entire agreement
- Verbal agreements are not binding unless in writing
